Job summary

Chart Industries seeks a Regional Sales Manager for municipal wastewater treatment solutions. The role covers the western half of the United States and all of Canada, requiring frequent travel.

You will secure contracts for water treatment equipment across municipal, private utility, commercial, and industrial sectors, leveraging deep knowledge of wastewater processes and strong relationships with engineers and contractors.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of sales experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equal relevant sales experience.
• Industrial equipment sales experience preferred, Water/Wastewater treatment.
• Centrifugal blower knowledge preferred.
• Ability to understand and interpret customer requirements and identify solutions.
• Strong presentation and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Generate new sales.
• Plan, strategize, and execute sales plan for assigned markets.
• Own annual sales and pipeline goals for the territory.
• Manage opportunity pipeline using Salesforce with timely updates.
• Develop territory and build relationships with Engineers, end users, operators, trade orgs, regulators, and contractors.
• Understand wastewater treatment processes and differentiators for effective positioning.
• Guide customers through discovery and proposal processes with the Applications Engineering team.
• Review proposals and support pricing approvals.
