Job summary

Hexagon is seeking a Regional Sales Manager for Portable Metrology software, including SpatialAnalyzer and Inspire. The role is remote, with requirement to reside in Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Minnesota, Wisconsin or NE US.

You will develop new business, expand existing accounts, and build partnerships across manufacturing, aerospace, automotive, and related sectors. You will lead regional sales strategy, conduct remote and onsite demos with application engineers, manage full sales

Qualifications

• 5+ years of B2B software/industrial tech sales experience.
• Proven quota attainment in relevant markets.
• Experience selling into manufacturing/aerospace/auto sectors.
• Strong consultative selling and value-based negotiation skills.
• Ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
• Proficient with CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.).
• Willing to travel 25-50% within region.
• Experience selling metrology software or related QA tech.
• Background in engineering/manufacturing/automation.
• Familiar with CAD platforms and inspection workflows.
• Experience selling licenses and subscriptions.

Responsibilities

• Own regional sales strategy to exceed revenue targets.
• Prospect, qualify, and close new business opportunities.
• Manage full sales cycle from discovery to contract.
• Conduct remote and onsite product demonstrations with engineers.
• Develop relationships with manufacturing leaders, quality managers, and engineers.
• Expand accounts through upselling and cross-selling.
• Maintain forecasting and pipeline in CRM.
• Collaborate with marketing, support, and product teams.
• Represent Hexagon at industry events and trade shows.
