Job summary

Atlas Copco North America LLC is seeking a Regional Sales Manager for a fully remote role. You will drive compressor valve product sales, build key account relationships, and execute action plans to meet targets across the region.

You will manage direct sales activities, respond to inquiries, prepare quotations, and promote new products. Travel is required; a Bachelor's in engineering/business and 3+ years' industrial sales experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of direct sales or customer service experience in industrial equipment sales or gas compression.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, marketing, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Skills: Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills with a results-driven mindset.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Other: Valid driver's license and ability to travel regularly.

Responsibilities

• Prospect, develop, and maintain quality customer relationships within the assigned region.
• Identify and target key accounts, engineering firms, distributors, resellers, OEMs, and strategic market segments to expand market share.
• Develop and execute sales action plans to achieve and exceed assigned sales targets.
• Manage direct sales activities, including customer visits, product presentations, and negotiations.
• Follow up on leads and referrals generated by Inside Sales and Marketing.
• Own sales opportunities through Start Up unless transferred to a third party.
• Establish and maintain regular contact with existing and new customers, with a focus on key accounts.
• Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, meetings, and other promotional events.
