Job summary

Dover Food Retail is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to drive growth and sales targets across food retailers, convenience stores, drug stores, and dollar stores. You will expand the customer base, build strong relationships, and promote refrigerated display case merchandisers and sustainable refrigeration technology.

The role requires 5+ years of technical sales in refrigeration or 7-10 years, travel ~50%, and a bachelor’s degree in engineering or business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• 5+ years progressive technical sales in refrigeration or related environment OR 7-10 years in refrigeration sales.
• Willingness to travel ~50% across customer sites and facilities.

Responsibilities

• Build a strategic sales plan account by account.
• Manage and provide factory support to contracted rep groups, dealers & Independents.
• Conduct sales calls with dealers and prospective customers to explain products and services.
• Qualify account needs and identify key mobilizers within retailers.
• Create and close sales.
• Forecast revenue monthly, quarterly and annually.
• Serve as the main contact with customers in your region and handle price objections and bids.
• Record, update and analyze account information to identify sales strategies.
• Travel to meet customers and suppliers as needed.
