Job summary

KEMET Electronics / YAGEO Group is seeking a Sales Representative in the Phoenix area to plan and execute sales efforts at OEMs through direct and distribution channels in Arizona, New Mexico and Southern Nevada. Remote work with travel up to 40% is available.

You will build relationships with key accounts, support engineering teams, and drive growth with solutions-based selling. A BS degree and 3+ years of sales experience are required.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Engineering, Science or Business.
• Minimum 3 years of previous sales experience with demonstrated track record of growth.
• Experience with solutions-based selling and solving customer problems.
• Ability to present and communicate effectively with customers and internal teams.
• Willingness to travel up to 40%.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed sales plan.
• Develop relationships with key accounts and distribution partners.
• Collaborate with engineering and supply chain to design in KEMET and gain AVL/BOM approval.
• Train distribution on all KEMET/YAGEO products.
• Keep management informed of market trends and issues affecting goals.
• Support Pricing Analyst with major RFQs.
• Maintain high service levels with current customers.
• Develop opportunities with current customers and cultivate new ones.
• Build cross-functional teamwork across Customer Service/Production and customer needs.
• Forecast annual sales.
• Assess market vulnerabilities for targeted opportunities.
• Travel up to 40%.
