Job summary

MISUMI Americas, a leading provider of standard and configurable manufacturing solutions, seeks a Regional Sales Director to lead a territory squad across the US. This remote role reports to the VP Territory Sales and focuses on building a high-performing team, executing a defined territory plan, and driving consultative, value-based selling.

Qualifications

• 8–12+ years of progressive B2B sales experience in manufacturing or a technology-driven environment.
• 3–5+ years in a sales leadership role; has managed field sales teams across large territories.
• Proven track record meeting or exceeding sales targets in a leadership capacity.
• Direct experience shifting a transactional or catalog-driven motion toward consultative, full-solution selling.
• Deep understanding of the manufacturing lifecycle, supply chain, and mechanical components.
• Operating rigor: pipeline analytics, territory design, and MEDDPICC or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead & develop the Territory Team with 6–8 field account executives and sales support.
• Own the Territory Sales Plan: forecast accuracy, pipeline coverage, and quota attainment.
• Drive full-solution, value-based selling across the team and embed MEDDPICC in deals.
• Build executive relationships with strategic accounts and manage account health.
• Maintain CRM discipline, pipeline inspection, and KPI tracking; travel ~50% annually.
• Partner with Marketing, Product, Operations to align offerings with territory needs.
