Job summary

Grafana Labs, a 100% remote company, seeks a Regional Sales Director, Acquisition to lead a Commercial Account Executive team and drive revenue growth across assigned territories. You’ll mentor, coach, and refine sales strategies while partnering with cross-functional teams to articulate value and close strategic, seven-figure deals.

You’ll guide a consultative process, leverage OSS familiarity, and work with GTM leadership to scale Grafana’s global footprint.

Qualifications

• 3+ years leading successful sales teams
• 8+ years direct sales experience
• Experience navigating 2–6 month sales cycles
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Ability to work with C‑level executives
• Track record closing seven-figure deals
• MEDDPICC methodology familiarity
• Experience using ROI/cost modeling for buyers
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Commitment to integrity and professionalism

Responsibilities

• Develop and mentor your sales team
• Create and manage a pipeline to over-achieve revenue targets
• Define sales territories, quotas, and goals
• Build an annual sales plan aligned with company strategy
• Meet with prospects and strategize with reps to close deals
• Prepare for QBRs and HBRs
• Develop long-term strategic relationships within accounts
• Collaborate with Marketing, Solution Engineers, R&D, and Customer Support
