Job summary

QXO is seeking a Regional Safety Manager in California to lead safety and regulatory programs across a multi-state territory (CA, OR, WA, AZ). This remote role requires CA residency with up to 50% travel to support operations and a strong focus on proactive risk mitigation and training.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree with CSP/ASP/CHST preferred, 5+ years in OSHA/EPA/DOT environments, and solid communication, auditing, and project-management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, in safety-related field.
• CSP/ASP/CHST certifications preferred.
• 5+ years of experience with OSHA/EPA/DOT regulations in construction, manufacturing, or warehousing.
• Strong communication and training skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) for the region.
• Identify improvements and implement safety programs.
• Manage safety region to reduce injuries and illnesses.
• Develop and deliver safety training related to construction/manufacturing.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory policies and procedures.
• Train regional resources on Construction Safety, investigate incidents, and perform root-cause analysis.
