Job summary

NIQ is seeking a Regional Payroll Director for the Americas to own end-to-end payroll delivery across 32 countries and ~8,000 employees. You will lead payroll through in-house, outsourced, and global solutions, coordinating with HR, Tax, Finance, and Audit to ensure compliance, governance, and continuous improvement.

The role requires English and Spanish fluency and experience managing geographically dispersed teams, with a focus on regulatory compliance and vendor management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, HR or related field.
• 10+ years in progressive payroll leadership across multiple countries.
• Deep U.S. payroll, tax, and regulatory knowledge with Latin American experience.
• Experience with in-house, outsourced, or global payroll models.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder-management skills.
• English and Spanish fluency.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accurate, timely payroll delivery across the Americas.
• Lead regional managers, country teams, and providers.
• Manage payroll tax compliance, filings, and notices.
• Oversee payroll accounting and financial close activities.
• Drive payroll controls, SOX readiness, and audits.
