Job summary

Nintex is seeking an experienced payroll professional to own end-to-end payroll operations for North America and oversee global payroll activities. The role sits within the Accounting team and partners with HR, Finance, regional teams, and external providers to ensure accurate, compliant, and timely payroll delivery.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive payroll experience in a global organization.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. and Canadian payroll regulations and compliance.
• Hands-on experience with UKG or a similar enterprise payroll system.
• Solid payroll accounting knowledge including journal entries and month-end close.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end payroll processing for U.S. and Canada.
• Oversee payroll accounting across AMER, EMEA, and APAC with regional partners.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. and Canada payroll tax, benefits, and reporting requirements.
• Partner with HR on hires, terminations, compensation changes, leaves, and policy interpretation.
• Serve as escalation point for payroll inquiries and provide guidance.
• Prepare payroll journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations for reporting.
• Maintain payroll controls, policies, and internal controls compliance.
• Coordinate payroll audits including the annual 401(k) audit and requests.
• Manage 401(k) true-ups, reconciliations, and funding activities.
• Drive continuous improvement of global payroll processes and vendor performance.
