Job summary

Merck, a leading pharmaceutical company, seeks a Growth and Improvement minded Regional Medical Scientific Director (MSL) in Inflammatory Bowel Disease Immunology. You will engage with Scientific Leaders to share balanced medical information and support scientific exchange for approved and in-development studies.

The role requires a PhD/MD/DO/etc and at least three years of Immunology/IBD experience, along with strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• PhD/Physician degree or equivalent required.
• Three years of relevant Immunology/IBD experience beyond the degree program.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to conduct doctoral-level discussions with external stakeholders.
• Knowledge of FDA, OIG, HIPAA and related regulations governing pharma industry.

Responsibilities

• Develops professional relationships with national and regional SLs to share company-approved medical information.
• Conducts peer-to-peer scientific discussions and maintains medical contact networks.
• Addresses SL inquiries and guides questions to appropriate company resources.
• Keeps current with advances in AOIs and therapeutic areas.
