The Michigan Farm Bureau Family of Companies is seeking a Regional Membership and Retention Manager to work with the Field Operations Division and County Farm Bureaus to grow and engage membership across assigned Michigan counties.

You will oversee county administrative managers, support training, lead board coordination, and partner with Farm Bureau Insurance and MSU Extension to deliver year‑long campaigns.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in agribusiness, agri-communications, business or political science.
• Experience volunteering for a nonprofit organization is required.
• Knowledge of the agricultural industry is required.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Excellent listening and customer service skills with strong leadership.
• Valid driver's license with no more than 7 MVR points and no DUI/DWI.
• Ability to work with minimal daily supervision.
• Residence within 30 miles of the assigned region.

Mansioni

• Build, maintain and service membership growth and retention in assigned counties.
• Assist county Farm Bureaus to plan and implement membership programs.
• Manage County Administrative Managers, including hiring, training and coaching.
• Review financial statements and report discrepancies to leadership.
• Attend county board meetings and report activities to stakeholders.
• Develop training for county Farm Bureau board members and volunteers.
• Recruit members for leadership roles and involvement at multiple levels.
• Engage with Farm Bureau Insurance partners and MSU Extension staff.
• Coordinate with regional agricultural organizations as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
