Job summary

Summit Therapeutics seeks a Regional Marketing Director to shape regional marketing strategies and customer engagement across the US oncology portfolio. You will partner with Marketing, Sales, Medical Affairs, and Market Access to translate national plans into regional actions.

You’ll lead educational initiatives, support congress and advisory boards, and ensure compliant, field-facing execution while building strong stakeholder relationships.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10+ years of progressive experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or healthcare marketing.
• Experience developing and executing regional marketing strategies within the U.S. pharmaceutical/biotech industry.
• Oncology marketing experience required; lung cancer experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing/Business or related field; advanced degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute regional marketing strategies and educational initiatives that align with national brand strategy, commercial objectives, and oncological market needs.
• Develop and execute robust customer engagement plans for National and Regional Thought Leaders, including segmentation and engagement planning.
• Partner with Sales and other customer-facing teams to translate national marketing strategies into effective regional execution plans.
• Develop a 360-degree view of regional and national thought leaders, integrating customer insights to personalize interactions.
• Collaborate to identify customer insights and regional market dynamics and translate those insights into actionable recommendations for the broader commercial organization.
• Support recruitment, contracting, and execution of regional and national commercial advisory boards.
• Develop and execute national and regional congress strategies and plans to maximize engagement and impact.
• Work with stakeholders on pre-, during-, and post-congress engagement strategies and follow-up with priority customers.
• Support the Promotions Speakers Program with internal stakeholders for compliant execution.
• Maintain relationships across Marketing, Sales, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Legal, Compliance, and other functions for coordinated regional execution.
