Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a proactive Labor Relations Manager to oversee labor relations across multiple construction projects and business groups. The role focuses on administering CBAs/PLAs, negotiations, and resolving employee relations matters while fostering strong union relationships.

This fully remote position will discuss location expectations during interviews, with responsibilities spanning the Western region and collaboration with Legal Counsel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Labor Relations or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in heavy industrial construction/projects involving trade unions
• Proven experience administering CBAs and working in union environments
• Strong ethical standards and ability to maintain confidentiality
• Effective written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong public speaking, presentation, and training abilities

Responsibilities

• Administer and interpret Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBAs) and Project Labor Agreements (PLAs)
• Support negotiations of CBAs, PLAs, MOUs, and other labor agreements
• Interpret labor contracts and state or national law and provide guidance to project teams to ensure compliance with Legal Counsel
• Assist with internal investigations, grievances, and dispute resolution in coordination with Legal Counsel
• Build and maintain positive relationships with local and regional union leadership and job stewards
• Coordinate project startup activities including workforce planning coordination, pre-job conferences, and labor relations trainings
• Maintain labor relations records and databases in accordance with company standards
