Job summary

Charles Schwab seeks an experienced relationship-builder and sales professional to acquire and grow Schwab Asset Management solutions across a defined territory. You will translate investment concepts into clear client conversations and partner with Financial Consultants, branch leaders and regional partners.

This telecommute role requires strong judgment, investment fluency, and willingness to travel within the territory. You must reside within the territory to assume the position.

Qualifications

• Active FINRA Series 7 and 66 licenses required.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Substantial experience in consultative sales, business development or relationship management with a demonstrated record of building trust and delivering results.
• Substantial experience in financial services, wealth management or related field.
• Ability to explain investment philosophy, processes and portfolio concepts in clear language.
• Ability to navigate a complex organization and work with diverse stakeholder styles.
• Willingness to travel within the territory.

Responsibilities

• Own acquisition and growth for Schwab Asset Management and selected third-party offerings across the territory.
• Build durable relationships with Financial Consultants, branch leaders and regional partners; tailor engagement to each branch and advisor practice.
• Act as a strategic thought partner to help advisors identify prospective clients and position solutions.
• Join advisor meetings to provide clear, balanced education on investment strategies.
• Develop knowledge of investment philosophies, portfolio construction and client needs.
• Create and deliver sales ideas, product updates and market-informed education for clients.
• Lead branch education and rollout of new products and initiatives.
• Develop and execute in-market client events, including branch meetings and webcasts.
• Use Salesforce, Tableau and other tools to manage opportunities and analyze trends.
• Collaborate across WAMS and with partners to deliver a coordinated experience.
• Manage territory with field presence and travel for visits and events.
