Medxcel is seeking a Regional Director of Physical Environment Safety to oversee operations of the maintenance and facilities department, aligning with organizational strategy and regulatory standards.

The role emphasizes safety, compliance, and customer-focused service, with leadership responsibilities across staffing, budgets, and external partnerships to ensure safe, efficient facility operations.

Qualifications

• Five years’ experience in healthcare facilities management, including safety and/or emergency management, required.
• Knowledge and experience with The Joint Commission, NFPA, state and federal regulations for healthcare facilities, required.
• Three years’ experience in a large, multi-campus healthcare system, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directs activities related to Facilities Management to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient operation of facilities.
• Develops strategic and operational policies, plans and budgets.
• Leads staffing processes including hiring, onboarding, performance management, and education initiatives.
• Oversees safety programs, audits, and regulatory readiness within the physical environment.
• Acts as liaison with internal and external stakeholders to ensure service excellence.
