Job summary

IHG Hotels & Resorts is seeking a skilled Senior Opening Project Manager to coordinate field processes for new hotel openings and transitions. You will manage milestones, engage franchisees, and drive on-time openings through cross-functional collaboration with NHOP, Franchise Sales, Revenue Management, and IT teams.

The role requires 5–7 years in hotel development, strong communication, and project management in matrix structures.

Qualifications

• Degree in hotel management or related field with relevant coursework.
• CHA or similar certification preferred where applicable.
• 5–7 years experience in hotel openings or development projects.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary liaison between franchisees and internal teams to ensure opening milestones.
• Manage opening process schedules, critical paths, and reporting on progress.
• Coordinate field consultants, operations, and training to support openings.
• Develop procedures for opening date parameters and track tasks.
• Review training programs with Operations Support and field staff.
