Job summary

Hyatt Hotels Corporation is seeking a Regional Openings & Conversions Project Lead (Remote) to manage end-to-end hotel openings and conversions across the Americas. The role focuses on owner/operator relations and delivering pre-opening roadmaps, timelines, and cross-functional alignment.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in hotel operations or related fields, with strong project management and stakeholder skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of progressive management experience in hotel operations and openings.
• Experience managing multi-stakeholder initiatives with owners/operators.
• Proficiency in project management and stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the complete project management lifecycle for hotel openings, conversions, managed to franchise transitions, and de flags, ensuring operational and commercial readiness from initial execution through hotel opening.
• Act as the primary point of contact for owners, developers, operators, and internal Hyatt stakeholders during pre-opening period.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with owners and operators, focusing on repeat business and future growth opportunities.
• Develop and implement comprehensive pre-opening plans with milestones and interdependencies, ensuring cross-functional coordination.
• Deliver on-site training and guidance during opening week and provide ongoing operational guidance aligned with brand standards.
• Monitor progress, assess timelines, and mitigate risks; escalate to senior decisions when appropriate.
• Apply independent judgment to identify risks, resolve issues, and drive execution within governance frameworks.
