Job summary

Zurich North America is seeking a Regional Director of Customer and Distribution Management Americas to lead growth and client relationships across North America and Latin America. The role reports to the Global Head of Customer & Distribution Management and oversees a small team, collaborating with internal stakeholders and external partners to expand multinational employee benefits solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 10+ years in the Sales area.
• Active individual insurance producer license with relevant lines of authority in at least one U.S. state; eligible to obtain additional licenses including New York broker license.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in employee benefits, insurance, consulting or financial services, including multinational business experience.
• Proven track record of leading high-performing commercial, sales, customer management or distribution teams.
• People management experience and strong leadership capabilities.
• Excellent leadership, coaching, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong strategic thinking and business planning skills.
• Experience managing complex customer relationships across multiple countries and cultures.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders; strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Fluent in English; Spanish and/or Portuguese would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the Americas growth strategy in alignment with global priorities.
• Lead and develop a small team of customer and distribution management professionals.
• Establish regional business plans and monitor performance against targets.
• Identify market opportunities, regulatory trends, and competitive developments across the Americas.
• Drive new business growth and retention for multinational employee benefits programs.
• Sponsor strategic sales opportunities, large tenders and complex RFPs.
• Build executive-level relationships with multinational clients, consultants and brokers.
• Promote adoption of Global Profit Sharing, Global Underwriting and Captive Solutions.
