Job summary

Foundation Fighting Blindness, Inc is seeking a Community Fundraising Manager to drive fundraising results across Raleigh, Charlotte, and South Carolina. You will lead volunteers, develop strategies, and grow community-based revenue while serving as the organization’s local face to donors and partners.

The role requires 3–5+ years in nonprofit fundraising, strong relationship-building, and the ability to travel regionally.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years in fundraising, community engagement, development, or related nonprofit work.
• Proven success in meeting or growing fundraising revenue goals.
• Strong relationship-building with volunteers, donors, and community partners.
• Experience recruiting and supporting volunteer leaders (committees or chapters).
• Public-facing representative in local communities.

Responsibilities

• Plan and carry out fundraising strategies to grow revenue across assigned communities.
• Build and maintain relationships with volunteers, donors, and local partners.
• Plan and execute fundraising events with volunteer committees.
• Set priorities, milestones, and success measures with internal teams.
• Recruit, support, and motivate volunteer leaders.
