Job summary

Greenlight America is seeking a Regional Campaign Manager to lead clean energy campaigns in Northern California. This remote, region-focused role reports to the Senior Manager, Campaigns and focuses on mobilizing volunteers, building coalitions, and delivering campaign milestones.

Responsibilities include developing plans, coordinating with partners, and managing budgets while leveraging digital campaigning tools.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Background in grassroots organizing, issue advocacy, community engagement, political campaigns, coalition management, or similar.
• Proven track record of campaign outcomes, local-level experience a plus.
• Strong project management and attention to detail.
• Experience with partners and volunteers; ability to build alliances across groups.
• Bay Area organizing experience a strong plus.
• Excellent communications, both verbal and written.
• Digital campaigning tools and tactics experience.
• Willingness to think creatively, take risks and iterate.
• Passion for accelerating the clean energy transition.

Responsibilities

• Lead campaigns for clean energy projects and ordinances in the region.
• Develop campaign plans with goals, strategies, and timelines with partners.
• Support partner organizations and volunteers; host trainings and create advocacy materials.
• Build relationships with environmental, labor, faith, and business groups.
• Oversee grant agreements and regular reporting of campaign data.
• Work with consultants and manage campaign budgets.
• Occasionally take on campaigns outside the assigned region.
