Job summary

Greenlight America is seeking a Regional Campaign Manager (NY & NJ) to lead the organization’s clean energy campaigns across the region. You will develop strategies, mobilize volunteers, and work with partner groups to secure siting approvals and advance advocacy efforts.

You will report to the East Regional Campaigns Director and coordinate with consultants, manage budgets, and track deliverables while expanding grassroots coalitions and drivers for energy transition.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant experience in grassroots organizing and campaigns.
• Proven track record of local campaign outcomes.
• Strong project management and attention to detail.
• Experience with partner organizations and volunteers.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with digital campaigning tools and tactics.
• Creative thinking, risk-taking, and data-driven iteration.
• Passion for accelerating the clean energy transition.

Responsibilities

• Lead campaigns for clean energy projects and ordinances in the assigned region.
• Develop campaign plans with goals, strategies, and timelines with partners.
• Track milestones and identify opportunities.
• Support partner organizations and volunteer leaders with trainings and advocacy materials.
• Build relationships with regional organizations across diverse groups.
• Oversee grants and ensure deliverables; report campaign data regularly.
• Work with consultants and manage campaign budgets.
• Occasionally take on campaigns outside the assigned region.
