Job summary

Eaton’s Global Energy Infrastructure Solutions (GEIS) division is seeking a Regional Application Engineer. This remote role supports commercial and industrial markets from Boise, ID, Littleton, CO, or Salt Lake City, UT, with a salary range of $99,000-$145,000 per year plus incentive opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of seven (7) years of electrical sales and/or electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, construction engineering, or industrial engineering experience.
• No immigration sponsorship or related CPT/OPT/STEM OPT programs accepted.
• Relocation not offered; candidates must reside in Littleton, CO, Boise, ID, or Salt Lake City, UT.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical pre-sale application and technical support for Crouse-Hinds and B-Line series products with consulting firms in assigned geographies.
• Provide strategic technical leadership and mentoring in support of sales teams.
• Conduct product seminars and training for consultants, end users, and sales channels.
• Collaborate with product lines to develop tools and literature for system designers and provide voice-of-customer input for product development.
• Provide technical application support on target projects including drawing reviews and contributing to sales pursuit strategies.
• Assist customers with design-build opportunities, specification reviews, lighting audits, and other consultative activities.
