Job summary

Kodiak Cakes, LLC is seeking a Regional Account Manager for the Mid-Central U.S. grocery/distributor business. You will own relationships with retailer HQs and brokers, build account plans, and drive profitable growth through distribution and in-market execution.

Ideal candidates will have direct experience presenting to regional buyers, managing trade budgets and forecasts, and a proven track record of strengthening shelf presence while working fully remote with a flexible benefit package.

Qualifications

• Track record building retailer relationships and influencing buyers or category managers.
• Experience managing account plans, forecasts, promotions, and trade budgets with measurable results.
• Proficient with Excel and presentation tools; able to use syndicated/retailer data to guide decisions.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% and operate in a fully remote environment.
• Genuine interest in Kodiak, products, and brand growth.

Responsibilities

• Grow distribution and strengthen assortment across assigned grocery retailers by building account strategies, earning buyer support, and selling in new product innovation.
• Deliver annual sales, revenue, and trade-spend commitments through clear account plans, calendars, budget management, and course corrections.
• Improve monthly case-volume and revenue forecasts by using retailer input, performance data, and trends.
• Turn retailer and market insights into actions that improve account performance and unlock growth.
• Coordinate with brokers and internal teams to align priorities and retailer support plans.
• Maintain smooth operations with accurate item setup, billing follow-up, and leadership reporting.
