Job summary

US Heart and Vascular is seeking a Remote Refunds Representative to join our team. You will review overpayment worklists, identify valid refunds, and process refund requests with accuracy across medical billing systems.

This role emphasizes careful research of claims and insurance postings, adherence to regulations, and collaboration with Finance to finalize refunds, all while maintaining a high standard of patient service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of medical office billing, payment posting and collections experience or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Reviews overpayment worklist and credit balances.
• Identifies valid insurance refunds through accurate research of claims, payment posting, adjustment posting and all other transactions associated to account.
• Completes the refund request process to submit to Finance.
• Adapts to changing priorities, processes, and business needs.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
