Qualifications

• 3–5 years in healthcare billing or related operations.
• Knowledge of CPT/ICD-10 coding and payer requirements.

Responsibilities

• Research credit balances and determine refund necessity with EOBs when needed.
• Process refunds after validating account history and submitting to AP.
• Meet or exceed productivity and quality targets set by supervisor.
• Collaborate with Reimbursement Specialists to verify refunds.
• Maintain knowledge of CPT/ICD-10 coding, payers, posting, ERA, and DAC codes.
• Uphold best practices to drive efficiency across the team.
