Job summary

Rheem Manufacturing Company seeks a Refrigeration Sales Engineer IV to consult with contractors, OEMs, and distributors to assess commercial refrigeration equipment needs and determine system requirements. The role provides technical sales expertise to develop key strategic accounts while focusing on profitable results for the commercial refrigeration business.

This position will support Rheem North America and the Heat Transfer Products Group from a home-based office, preferably in California,

Qualifications

• 7+ years of successful experience selling product solutions in the commercial refrigeration segment.
• ASHRAE certification or involvement highly preferred
• Background in strong customer relationships, driving commercial equipment solutions.
• Ability to travel at least 50% of time
• HS Diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Call on refrigeration wholesale customers, OEMs, contractors, specifying engineers, and prospective customers on a regular basis and provide services by creating and pulling business through wholesale channels.
• Develop, meet, and exceed annual sales forecasts
• Work with customers to promote, sell, develop, and implement programs, training, strategy, and support new product introductions
• Identify market opportunities and work with distributors to target and win opportunities
• Run BTU run-load calculations and select equipment for applications
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure end-to-end customer satisfaction
• Participate in local industry organizations
• Other duties as assigned.
