Job summary

Sentara Independence in Virginia Beach is seeking a Referral Specialist for our CAC Department. This is a remote position; however, candidates must be able to travel on-site when connectivity or power outage occurs to Sentara Independence or Hampton locations.

Key responsibilities include scheduling patients, confirming insurance eligibility through real-time eligibility (RTE) tool, and pre-registering patients, while validating data accuracy.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 1 year of customer service experience required.
• Medical Terminology preferred.
• Epic experience preferred.
