Job summary

The ideal candidate will have medical terminology knowledge, EPIC experience, and strong organizational skills, supporting a large, integrated health network.

Qualifications

• Medical terminology preferred.
• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and third party payers.
• One year of experience with insurance verification/referral processing preferred.
• Knowledge of EPIC preferred.
• Proficient in use of computers and excellent organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides a direct link between patients, primary care providers, specialty providers, and insurance companies.
• Coordinates referral process from primary care providers as well as pre-authorization approvals for drugs and other services as ordered by provider.
