Job summary

Barclays is seeking a hands-on Red Team Operator to join a skilled UK team. You’ll perform full-scope red team engagements—cyber, physical, social engineering—and emulate real-world adversaries to test defenses.

You’ll design phishing campaigns, operate C2 frameworks, develop custom tooling, and turn findings into actionable risk narratives for engineers and executives. Occasional travel, remote work, and collaboration with defensive teams are expected.

Qualifications

• Hands-on red team experience across cyber, physical, and social engineering.
• Proven ability to design and execute phishing and social campaigns.
• Certified or hands-on tradecraft development preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participate in full-scope red team engagements across cyber, physical, and social surfaces.
• Design and deliver phishing and social engineering campaigns end-to-end.
• Operate and tune C2 frameworks through initial access and lateral movement.
• Develop custom tooling and defence-evasion tradecraft.
• Translate engagements into clear risk narratives for engineers and executives.
• Collaborate with defensive teams to improve detection and resilience.
• Research emerging TTPs and bring new techniques to the team.
