Job summary

Washington State Health Care Authority in Olympia seeks a Recruitment Team Supervisor to lead a small, skilled recruiting staff while guiding equity-focused hiring across the agency. This role blends remote work with on-site coaching and periodic in-person meetings.

You will supervise three talent acquisition staff, shape sourcing for hard-to-fill roles, partner with hiring managers, and ensure compliant, data-driven recruitment practices that advance Washington's health goals.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a recruiting team in a public or large organization.
• Ability to advise staff on complex staffing policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of equity and pay practices in hiring and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the work and day-to-day functions of the agency’s Recruitment team.
• Oversee hard-to-fill and executive recruitments; develop sourcing strategies.
• Build relationships with hiring managers to align on current and future hiring needs.
• Independently advise staff at all levels on staffing policies and procedures.
• Analyze candidate backgrounds to recommend salaries consistent with WA EPOA.
• Research and analyze rules and collective bargaining agreements for compliance.
• Develop and implement training for recruiting and hiring, including DEI practices.
• Create training curricula for hiring managers on recruiting practices.
• Produce routine and ad hoc workforce data reports.
