Job summary

VaVa Virtual Assistants seeks a part-time, remote Recruitment & Talent Coordinator (W2) to identify and engage top contractors across the United States. The role emphasizes strategic sourcing, interviewing, onboarding, and ongoing contractor engagement to strengthen VaVa’s culture.

You’ll partner with Managers to align Contractor skills with client needs, manage onboarding/offboarding, and drive community engagement and events.

Qualifications

Must reside and be authorized to work in the United States.
2+ years of working and/or coaching in a virtual environment.
2+ years of talent location and recruiting experience, ideally for a virtual workforce.
2+ years of experience in organizational leadership.
2+ years of executive assistance, client support, or related experience.
Familiar with recruiting and onboarding both employees and independent contractors.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
A demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards and a diverse workplace.
Open to direction and collaborative work style and commitment to get the job done.
Ability to look at situations from several points of view.

Responsibilities

Understand the Independent Contractor hiring process, including 1099 compliance.
Project upcoming staffing needs and create plans using recruiting techniques.
Create and maintain accurate job postings across sites.
Oversee hiring process: reviewing applications, interviews, background checks, offers.
Execute onboarding and offboarding steps for Contractors.
