hireneXus is a boutique executive recruiting firm based in Elgin, Illinois. We are seeking a Recruiting Associate to join us full-time in a 100% remote role with Central Time hours.

You will focus on scheduling and appointment setting, candidate research, and sourcing for executives. The role offers a clear path to grow into Project Coordinator and Account Executive positions over time, with comprehensive training and fully remote work.

Qualifications

• Recent graduate or ~1 year of related experience in recruiting, scheduling, sales, or admin.
• Experience in recruiting or staffing is a major plus.
• Comfort with making calls and handling rejection professionally.
• Clear, professional writing and speaking voice.
• Strong organization and attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn CRM tools and Zoom.
• Self-motivated and reliable to work from home.
• Curiosity about recruiting, sales, and building relationships.
• Interest in growing with a small firm long term.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and set interviews between clients and candidates, coordinating times and invites.
• Set appointments for Account Executives with candidates and client contacts.
• Reach out by email, text, or phone for faster responses; send calendar invites with Zoom links.
• Handle reschedules, cancellations, and last-minute changes professionally.
• Follow up with executives and maintain calendar accuracy and next steps.
• Keep CRM notes, activity, and next steps up to date.
• Research and source candidates for active recruiting projects.
• Match candidates to each search and present to the Account Executive or Project Coordinator.
• Collaborate with Account Executives and Project Coordinators to understand search needs.
