Job summary

Garage Door Partners is seeking a dependable Part-Time Recruiter to source qualified candidates, maintain a strong candidate pipeline, and schedule interviews with hiring managers. You will manage multiple schedules, communicate clearly with candidates, and keep accurate ATS records to ensure a smooth hiring process.

The role is a full-time remote position paying $25/hour, with flexibility to support hiring needs as the company grows.

Qualifications

• Experience in recruiting, HR, staffing, administrative, or customer service preferred.
• Strong communication skills and a professional phone/email presence.
• Excellent organization and follow-up with strong attention to detail.
• Comfortable using job boards, email, calendars, spreadsheets, and basic recruiting or HR systems.
• Ability to manage multiple candidates and interview schedules at the same time.
• Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment; proactive and takes initiative.

Responsibilities

• Source candidates through job boards, resume databases, referrals, social media, and other recruiting channels.
• Review resumes and applications to identify candidates who meet role requirements.
• Conduct initial outreach to candidates and provide basic information about open positions.
• Coordinate interview availability between candidates and hiring managers.
• Schedule phone, virtual, and in-person interviews in a timely and professional manner.
• Maintain accurate candidate records, interview notes, and status updates in the ATS or tracker.
• Communicate clearly with candidates throughout the scheduling process to support a positive experience.
• Maintain ATS records including templates, screening questions, system updates, onboarding packets, I-9 and E-Verify management
• Partner and support recruiting as company grows; assist with other projects as needed.
