Job summary

Bosun is seeking a part-time Recruiter (Independent Contractor) to manage full-cycle recruiting for clients in restoration, mitigation, and construction. You’ll work remotely with a small team, using HubSpot, Breezy HR, Zoom, and AI tools to source, screen, and place candidates.

The role starts at ~5 hours per week and grows with performance, up to 20 hours weekly, with a strong emphasis on ownership and proactivity. Compensation is $30/hour with upsell-related commissions.

Qualifications

• Experience in recruiting or high-touch client service is expected.
• Construction or trades industry exposure is a strong plus.
• Comfort with CRM/ATS platforms and AI tools is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct discovery calls with clients to understand hiring needs, culture, and ideal profile.
• Create SEO-optimized job descriptions using client input and AI tools.
• Source and screen candidates daily in Breezy HR.
• Conduct video interviews with candidates.
• Prepare client-facing candidate emails to excite the client about top talent.
• Coordinate end-to-end interviews between clients and candidates.
• Maintain records in HubSpot and Breezy HR.
• Attend weekly client check-ins and report pipeline status.
• Proactively flag issues and act without being prompted.
