Job summary

Groups Recover Together is hiring a Counselor to lead group therapy sessions, collaborate with an integrated care team, and support members on a harm-reduction, person-centered recovery journey. You will facilitate discussions, document progress, and engage with the community to improve access to compassionate addiction treatment.

Ideal candidates bring LISW/LCSW licensure, 2+ years in SUD group settings, and comfort with EMR/Telehealth tools, plus a genuine commitment to member success.

Qualifications

• Active LISW/LCSW license required.
• Minimum two years’ experience leading groups in a SUD setting.
• Proficient with EMR, Telehealth, and Google tools.
• Demonstrated compassion, collaboration, and commitment to quality care.

Responsibilities

• Lead 3–4 one-hour, evidence-based group therapy sessions daily.
• Facilitate meaningful discussions and adapt modalities to members’ needs.
• Collaborate with prescribers, care navigators, and recovery coaches for whole-person care.
• Monitor member progress and document outcomes.
• Create a welcoming, harm-reduction-focused environment.
• Engage with the local community to promote access to treatment.
