HireHawk Inc. seeks a Records Clerk Team Lead to manage a remote records team supporting U.S. plaintiff personal injury matters. You will supervise, coach, and escalate as needed while ensuring timely retrieval and accurate documentation of medical records and billing statements.

You will own workflows, QA checks, and performance metrics while collaborating with Case Managers and other legal operations stakeholders to keep case preparation on track.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years hands-on medical records retrieval for U.S. plaintiff personal injury matters.
• 1+ year leading or directing Records Clerks or similar legal support teams.
• Strong working knowledge of pre-litigation workflows and how records support case prep.
• Experience requesting, tracking, reviewing, and following up on records and billing statements.
• Knowledge of HIPAA, medical authorizations, and confidential handling.
• Experience with a legal case management platform and strong Excel/reporting skills.

Aufgaben

• Lead and coordinate daily workflow of Records Clerks and team members.
• Own the medical records and billing retrieval process across hospitals and providers.
• Keep requests moving by identifying delays and resolving issues.
• Monitor turnaround times, productivity, and accuracy with KPIs.
• Coach and train on retrieval procedures, documentation standards, and HIPAA.
• Conduct quality assurance reviews for completeness and organization.
• Partner with Case Managers to ensure documentation is available for pre-litigation.
• Identify bottlenecks and recommend process improvements for efficiency.
• Maintain reporting on completed requests and team productivity.
• Handle complex provider issues and escalate when needed.
