Job summary

The Department of Retirement Systems in Tumwater, WA seeks a Fiscal Analyst 2 - Reconciliation Desk to balance numbers, reconcile accounts, and support retirement contributions and trust funds.

You will collaborate with the Office of the State Treasurer, AFRS, and internal partners to ensure accurate financial records and timely reconciliations, with emphasis on integrity and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience performing a variety of accounting and fiscal duties efficiently and in compliance with policies.
• Experience may include account reconciliations, tracking and recording payments, accounts receivable and/or payroll.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily reconciliations of cash received between DRS's financial reporting system, OST, and AFRS.
• Complete monthly reconciliations for 12 retirement trust funds including HERP, 401(H), and MIS.
• Review and correct accounting data flowing into AFRS through research and reconciliations.
• Prepare plan and system transfers between retirement systems and plans to keep AFRS balances accurate.
