Versant is seeking a Real-Time Graphics Artist to join our Creative Operations team, delivering high-fidelity real-time graphics for live sports and entertainment using Vizrt, Unreal Engine, and related tools.

This fully remote role balances creative craft with technical execution, collaborating across engineers, designers, and production partners to craft immersive, data-driven visuals that perform at 60fps+ in live productions.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in 3D and real-time production, with 2+ years in sports/entertainment.
• Hands-on experience building real-time graphics with Vizrt and Unreal Engine.
• Experience with Vizrt scripting and templating (VBScript, HTML5, JavaScript, TypeScript).
• Proficiency in Maya, 3ds Max, Cinema 4D, Blender, Photoshop, After Effects, Substance Painter/Designer.
• Strong understanding of real-time rendering, GPU optimization, and performance profiling.

Responsibilities

• Build real-time scenes and graphics using Vizrt Artist, Viz Engine, and Unreal Engine.
• Deliver high visual fidelity with immersive environments and PBR materials.
• Develop interactive systems and graphics triggers for live data.
• Profile and troubleshoot scenes to maintain 60fps+ for live production.
• Advance workflows by connecting Maya, Cinema 4D, Blender to real-time engines.
• Evaluate emerging real-time capabilities and identify practical opportunities.
