Job summary

Acrebook, a New Jersey-based real estate operations and accounting firm, is hiring an Accounting Associate for a remote, full-time position serving U.S. property managers. You will learn and apply core accounting tasks with Buildium and QuickBooks, while supporting month-end closes and client reporting.

The role emphasizes strong English communication, quick software uptake, and a foundation in accounting. Training will cover industry-standard workflows and AI-assisted processes for real estate

Qualifications

• B.Com / M.Com / CMA / CA / MBA (Finance) or equivalent
• 1-2 years of accounting experience
• Strong accounting fundamentals
• Good written and spoken English
• Laptop with reliable internet connection (minimum 20 Mbps)

Responsibilities

• Accounting support including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, bank and credit card reconciliations, bill entry, journal entries, trust accounting support, owner statements, month-end close support.
• Property management operations support such as maintenance coordination, rent collection follow-up, lease administration, data entry and record management.
• Hands-on experience with Buildium, QuickBooks, Microsoft 365, and Google Workspace.
• Opportunity to work with U.S.-based property management companies and learn AI-powered accounting workflows.
