Job summary

REA.co is seeking an experienced Account Manager for a remote, full-time position available to candidates located in the Philippines. The role focuses on property accounting using AppFolio, managing client relationships, and leading a team of bookkeepers to deliver accurate financial services.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years with AppFolio and real estate accounting experience, CPA preferred, and strong English communication skills to interact with clients and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 2+ years experience with AppFolio required.
• 2+ years experience in real estate accounting/finance.
• CPA preferred or equivalent experience.
• Strong English verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lead client meetings.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients.
• Manage client relationships and coordinate with internal accounting teams.
• Oversee a team of Bookkeepers and Senior Bookkeepers.
• Review financial work and ensure accuracy.
• Coordinate property accounting activities (setup, owner distributions, fees).
• Lead client meetings and document key discussions.
• Monitor deadlines and ensure monthly deliverables.
• Escalate risks to senior leadership when appropriate.
