Job summary

The City of Raleigh seeks a Plan Review Supervisor to lead the Stormwater Plan Review group, reviewing and permitting development projects citywide. This role advocates for Green Stormwater Infrastructure and collaborates with staff, engineers, and stakeholders to advance compliant stormwater practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• 5 to 7 years of engineering, construction management or related experience.
• PE registration or ability to obtain within one year.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the Stormwater Plan Review Group: oversee permitting for development projects and staff evaluations.
• Advocate for Green Stormwater Infrastructure (GSI) across public and private projects.
• Coordinate updates to the City’s Unified Development Ordinance and Stormwater Design Manual to stay current with regulations.
