The Berklee College of Music’s Boston Conservatory at Berklee seeks a Temporary Production Manager to oversee production and stage management for the Rake’s Progress project at the Wimberly Theatre in April 2027. The PM will supervise the stage management team and coordinate with technical staff and guest designers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Theater, Dance, Music, Arts Administration or equivalent.
• 3–5 years in production management or similar roles in professional productions.
• Experience supervising professional staff.
• Experience as an event manager or in higher ed is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Participate in production meetings, record and disseminate information, schedule and lead meetings.
• Create and maintain a detailed production calendar for all teams.
• Develop labor lists and ensure proper staffing for calls.
• Coordinate transportation needs for trucking with Conservatory staff.
• Monitor budgets and liaise with leadership on costs.
• Maintain design deadlines and consult with staff and guest designers.
• Collaborate with Concert Services for pit orchestras and ensembles.
• Attend load-in, tech, dress rehearsals, and performances in person.
• Produce end-of-day reports and shift to stage-management rehearsal reports.
• Be onsite for strike and post-show pickups.
