Job summary

Herzing University seeks a Clinical Director to oversee the MS-CMHC fieldwork component, ensuring alignment with CACREP standards and licensure requirements. You will coordinate curriculum, assessments, fieldwork partnerships, and site supervision while supporting students and faculty throughout clinical placements.

The role involves coordinating with program leadership, maintaining documentation, and liaising with licensing boards to maintain accreditation readiness.

Qualifications

• PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision.
• 5 years of experience in higher education.
• Experience with CACREP accreditation.
• Experience in clinical supervision.
• Licensed Professional Counselor or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (or other independent professional licensure by the applicant's respective state - no associate or provisional licenses).

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the initial CACREP accreditation process for the MS-CMHC program.
• Develop the program curriculum and assessment plan with leadership and faculty.
• Develop partnerships with local and regional agencies for fieldwork placements.
• Maintain fieldwork agreements between Herzing University and sites.
• Prepare sections of the accreditation candidacy application related to fieldwork.
• Collaborate on program policies and provide fieldwork resources to students.
• Maintain curricular documents (catalog, manual, handbook, website).
• Provide training and ongoing communication to students, practicum/ internship instructors, and sites.
• Evaluate student fieldwork placements for alignment with requirements.
• Oversee student progress and academic processes within fieldwork.
• Serve as liaison with state licensing boards.
• Participate in school, college, and university committees.
• Fulfill other duties as assigned.
