Job summary

BlackCSI is seeking an Infrastructure Installation Technician in Ohio to install, program and troubleshoot low voltage cabling, access control, and video surveillance systems. You will respond to service calls, work on-site, and coordinate with clients to ensure smooth deployments.

Responsibilities include wiring, testing, vendor coordination, maintaining equipment inventories, and keeping up-to-date on security technologies.

Qualifications

• Read blueprints/drawings.
• Pull and install cables.
• Terminate RJ45/Keystone/110/66 blocks.
• Test cables end-to-end.
• Run and test fiber.
• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• Pass background/fingerprint clearances.
• Be reliable and self-motivated.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, test, and maintain low voltage systems (burglary, surveillance, access control, intercom, audio).
• Troubleshoot and repair faulty equipment.
• Coordinate with vendors to ensure project standards.
• Report issues needing escalation or parts.
• Respond to service calls in a timely manner.
• Maintain inventory and service records.
• Keep up-to-date on related technologies and training.
• Communicate regularly with supervisor and clients.
