Actalent is seeking an Ignition SCADA Controls Engineer for a Dallas, TX-based contract-to-hire role. You will design and develop Ignition-based SCADA/HMI systems for building management and energy platforms, build dashboards, and configure gateways and modules to ensure scalable, secure operation.

You will collaborate with internal teams on system design, deployment, commissioning, and troubleshooting, with a hybrid work arrangement beginning remote and transitioning to onsite for several

Qualifications

Hands-on experience with Ignition for SCADA/HMI development.
Strong experience in control system development including gateway/project/module configuration.
Proficiency building graphics, dashboards and interfaces for HVAC and facility operations.
Experience integrating control systems with PLCs, including Allen-Bradley platforms.

Responsibilities

Design and develop Ignition-based SCADA/HMI systems for BMS and EMP.
Build and configure dashboards, graphics, and UI for HVAC and facility ops.
Configure Ignition gateways, projects, and modules for reliable operation.
Set up network communication between field devices, controllers, and servers.
