Job summary

Engtal is seeking a controls engineer to design and deliver SCADA solutions, focusing on the Ignition platform and PLC integration across multi-site projects. You’ll join a small, technical team supporting live deployments and client engagements, taking ownership of the SCADA layer and ensuring scalable data architectures.

You’ll work remotely with occasional site travel, collaborating with other engineers and customers to deliver clean, reliable systems across oil & gas, manufacturing, and data

Qualifications

• Ability to build systems from scratch across full project lifecycles.
• Experience wiring PLCs and connecting field devices to SCADA.
• Background in oil & gas, manufacturing, or similar process industries.

Responsibilities

• Build and configure SCADA systems using Ignition Vision/Perspective.
• Develop HMIs, dashboards, alarms, and data structures for plant-wide use.
• Connect PLCs and field systems into SCADA environments (Rockwell, Siemens).
• Support full project lifecycle from design to commissioning.
• Troubleshoot live systems and support project delivery.
