The New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DOHMH) seeks a Construction Project Manager Level 2 to support the Office of Facilities Planning and Space Management. You will provide general construction and MEPFP engineering review, oversee projects, inspect sites, and ensure compliance with plans, codes and safety requirements.

Responsibilities include coordinating multiple contractors, reviewing change orders, and ensuring timely delivery of DOHMH facilities, including animal care

Formación

• Four-year high school diploma or equivalent with five years of construction project management/inspection experience.
• One year of experience plus a bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, or construction management.
• One year of experience plus a valid PE/Architect/Landscape Architect license may substitute for some experience.

Responsabilidades

• Provide general construction and MEPFP engineering review and support for DOHMH projects.
• Oversee construction management, inspections, and contractor work for DOHMH buildings.
• Inspect sites and ensure compliance with plans, codes, safety, and wage requirements.
• Read blueprints and monitor contractor performance, procurement, and change orders.
• Coordinate multiple contractors and schedules to minimize disruption to facilities.
