Job summary

Onbe is seeking a Financial Operations AR Specialist to join our team. You will reconcile financial records, identify discrepancies, and support closing processes to maintain accuracy and compliance.

This hybrid role requires onsite work 2 days per week in Chicago, Philadelphia, or Dallas metro areas, with occasional travel. You will partner with finance to ensure adherence to policies and participate in automation efforts to improve efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in accounting/finance.
• 3+ years in accounting or bookkeeping.
• Familiarity with accounting principles and reporting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; Great Plains a plus.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile financial records across bank statements, AP/AR, and GL.
• Identify and resolve basic discrepancies, escalate complex issues.
• Enter data accurately and maintain supporting documentation.
• Assist in preparing standard financial reports for internal use.
• Support compliance with internal controls and accounting standards.
• Collaborate with the finance team and other departments daily.
• Explore opportunities for automation to improve reconciliation efficiency.
