Job summary

Onbe is seeking a Financial Operations Staff Accountant to join the Financial Operations team. You will reconcile financial transactions, identify discrepancies, and support the preparation of standard financial reports in accordance with accounting standards and internal policies.

You will collaborate with the finance team to ensure accuracy, automate processes where possible, and uphold internal controls while contributing to overall financial health and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field (or equivalent).
• 3+ years in accounting or bookkeeping role.
• Familiarity with GAAP and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine reconciliations of financial records (bank statements, AP/AR, GL).
• Identify and help resolve basic discrepancies; escalate complex issues.
• Data entry and accuracy; maintain organized records and documentation.
